HANDING OVER MANAGEMENT OF RHCS TO PHFMC.

Please refer to the Tripartite Agreement executed between the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department Government of the Punjab, Punjab Health Facilities Management Company (PHFMC) & District Health Authorities of the above-mentioned Districts. As per the agreement, PHFMC has assumed the management control of BHUS from PRSP w.e.f. 01-07-2017. The approved expansion plan of PHFMC includes taking over the management of Rural Health Centers (being part of FLHF) for the smooth functioning of Primary Healthcare in the district as well. In accordance with the plan, the management of RHCS of Lahore has been handed over to PHFMC in the first phase. The subsequent expansion includes taking over of the management of RHCs of all the above-mentioned PRSP Districts. It is requested that Notification may be re-issued by the CEO DHA (Annex-B of the Agreement), after the inclusion of all Rural Health Centers of the respective Districts in addition to the BHUS, ZCDs & GRDS. The detail of HR, assets, and budget of these RHCS may also be provided to respective DM, PHFMC by 15-09-2017 positively while services of all existing staff, along with assets and budget will be transferred to PHFMC on 01-11-2017.
